Meet Captain Alex Geneteau

Captain Alex Geneteau was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He’s been fishing for the last 15 years in Biscayne Bay, Flamingo, and Ten Thousand Islands, specializing in night fishing in beautiful Miami Beach. If you’re looking to catch some Tarpon, Snook, or Redfish, Captain Alex is your guy.

After earning his degree in Hospitality Administration and Management from Florida International University, he worked for West Marine’s fishing and tackle department, tending personally to customers and using his knowledge of fishing and boating to answer any pressing questions.

In 2008, he founded Miami Inshore Fishing Charters and currently operates as our Captain and owner. With his proficiency, our fishing charter has become a staple for locals and visitors alike. Not only does he run our business, but he provides unbeatable customer service to all of our first-timers and regulars.
